Lienra is a contractor legal workflow platform. It handles a large amount of structured dispute, lien, bond-claim, demand-letter, and board-response work that contractors would otherwise pay for line by line in legal fees.

This page sets the boundary: where the platform operates as your workflow engine, and where formal legal representation begins.

Scope

What Lienra Handles

Lienra is the operating layer for contractor payment-recovery and compliance work. The platform prepares, organizes, and tracks the structured legal-process work that most contractor disputes actually require:

  • Demand letter preparation
  • Mechanics-lien filings and deadline tracking
  • License-board response packages
  • Bond-claim documentation
  • Case analysis, risk assessment, and procedural sequencing
  • State-specific rule application

This is real work — not abstract advice. The platform reduces the manual legal workload and the legal spend a contractor carries through a typical dispute. What it does not do is act as legal counsel for matters requiring formal representation. That boundary is set out in the sections below.

Boundary

Not a Law Firm

Lienra is a workflow platform, not a law firm. Using Lienra does not create an attorney-client relationship, and Lienra does not provide legal representation, courtroom advocacy, or jurisdiction-specific legal judgment that requires a licensed attorney.

Think of it like a bookkeeper relative to a CPA. Lienra handles the high-volume, structured, documentation-heavy work that most contractor disputes require. When formal representation, court appearance, or higher-stakes legal judgment is required, work with a licensed attorney.

AI systems

AI-Generated Outputs

Lienra's AI systems, including Kayron, analyze the facts you submit and produce structured legal-workflow outputs:

  • Case analysis and risk assessment
  • Document drafts — demand letters, lien filings, board responses, bond-claim packages
  • Deadline calculation and procedural sequencing
  • State-specific rule application

AI outputs are workflow artifacts grounded in your inputs and the platform's rule sets. They are not legal advice and do not replace a licensed attorney's judgment in matters requiring formal representation. Review generated documents before filing and verify state-specific deadlines for your jurisdiction.

Outcomes

No Guarantee of Legal Outcomes

Lienra prepares the documents and structures the workflow. Legal outcomes — whether a payment is recovered, a lien is enforced, a bond claim succeeds, or a board complaint is resolved — depend on facts, jurisdiction, counterparty conduct, and other factors outside the platform's control. The platform does not guarantee any specific result.

Your obligations

User Verification

Lienra structures and accelerates the workflow; you remain the actor of record on every filing. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate facts about your project, contracts, and timeline
  • Reviewing every generated document before filing
  • Verifying state-specific deadlines and procedural requirements for your jurisdiction

For matters requiring legal representation, court appearance, or jurisdiction-specific legal judgment, consult a licensed attorney.

Location

Jurisdiction and Legal Requirements

Construction law and mechanic's lien requirements vary significantly by jurisdiction. Lienra provides general guidance but does not guarantee that generated documents or recommendations meet all legal requirements for a specific location.

Users should verify local laws and regulations before taking legal action.
